Holmfirth festival of folk!

A popular annual folk festival which engulfs the whole of Holmfirth and which The Nook is proud to remain at the heart of. The festival takes place in may with regular live bands throughout the weekend in both The Nook and Carniceria.

The Holmfirth ‘Madchester’ Beer Fest

On the 29th March- 1st April 2012, The Nooks Spring Beer Festival real ale guzzlers will be drinking ale from t’other side o’ hills. We’ll be showcasing over 40 Cask Ales from around the Greater Manchester and Lancashire area including confirmed breweries of Manchester Marble; Green Mill Brewery; Irwell Works; Brightside Brewery and Fuzzy Duck Brewery plus many more to be announced. Rest assured Nook Brewhouse Ale lovers… we’ll still have all our brewhouse regulars mingling amongst the Mancunian Ales including some new festival specials!

 

The Holmfirth Food and Drink festival.

Holmfirth bustles with the sights, sounds and smells of local and not-so-local cuisine as the Food and Drink festival brings in people from across the country. Carniceria as usual will be offering up some culinary delights as well as our outstanding collection of global beers and world wines in September.
